Thanks, my wife tried to convince me to keep it but I honestly don't wear it enough. I have the same problem with shotguns. I convince myself that I'll use it, but then revert back to what I already have.

FYI- Christopher Ward has a new Pepsi Trident C65 GMT that looks pretty sharp: https://www.christopherward.com/watch/view-all-watches/c65-vintage-gmt-644505 . Actually, all the C65s look pretty good. They have a more vintage look than the C60s.

Ha ha. Not anymore. I traded in my GMT II towards the Sea Dweller. I want to save up my pennies and get a Batman next, but that will be a year or two away.

Only a matter of time...


30k now btw for mint 5167a rubber with original box and papers. People have gone crazy.

Since I missed out on that Speedmaster, I am thinking about making this my next watch. Always had a thing for the platinum Yachtmaster. Only real reservation is that my Datejust is stainless and has a similar look. Only other diver is a Planet Ocean on a NATO.

I have worn that exact watch for the last 10 years. it is my only watch

ETA, I bought mine used at Hal Martin's back then

Platinum YM is a really good looking watch, especially in the newer blue and rhodium dial. I didn't like that the center links were polished, but the dial looks great to me.

Bought a Seiko SKX009 Pepsi since I couldn't pull off the Rolex GMT or Christopher Ward right now. Meant to be a weekend fishing/beach knockaround watch anyway I suppose.

The 42mm is all black, and while a badass watch, it doesn't quite have the look of the rose gold. God, if they made that rose gold in a 42+ I'd likely have one. Such a clean watch
