Same here. I don't have giant wrists, but 36mm just looks too small on my wrist. 40 is my sweet spot, but the 42 Omega I have on right now sits pretty nice on my wrist.

A lot of classic watches, such as the Explorer I, were 36s. It's more a current fashion thing to call 36s small or women's watches. My wrist is between 7 1/4 and 7 1/2 and the BB36 is fine. The bracelet is maybe a touch tight when the weather is right, but for the most part it's fine.

I posted many pages back a picture of what a 44mm face case looks like on my wrist. Anything smaller looks like a child's toy.

My dress watch is a 39mm Master Ultra Thin, and as much as I love it, it feels a little big for what it is.
Watches with small bezels wear a lot bigger. Its why I went with a 35 instead of a 38 in my Nomos. I have a JLC Master (not ultra thin unfortunately) that wears as big as or bigger than my Sub (40 and much thicker).DVC2010 said:
