No it's yellow gold. May be the lighting giving it a little different hue

My wife is wearing an old Seiko we found at my grandmother's house.
She isn't interested in a nice watch. She actually likes the ticking of a quartz (she is a musician and uses it as a metronome of sorts.) Want to get her one with better weather sealing than that old Seiko. Any suggestions? Just grab a random Seiko or Citizen? Good lume is a plus.

Yes to those 2. But also check the gray market for a tissot or hamilton. I feel like tissot makes about 900 styles and has something for every one. Pretty cheap on gray market, not much different than a seiko or an eco drive quartz.

Hahaha well The older ones only came on oyster I believe, but I can always get a jubilee bracelet for you and swap it out!

Just for curiosity, is the tritium still active? And will Rolex "refresh" it if you send it to them? Superluminova is fine, but tritium is very cool.

The tritium does not glow. But to be honest I haven't had a single tritium watch come through that glows unless it was messed with.
I don't think Rolex would do that but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
Like the Pepsi dial but the coke is where it's at for me. Debated picking up a birth year coke for quite a while. Would like for them to come back out with a new version too.

Another warning to be careful when buying on the secondary market.
Today I received a Rolex submariner. Movement looked good. The problem? Someone put an authentic movement in a fake case with a fake Rolex bracelet. I've handled so many of these I "felt" the difference and confirmed with a watchmaker that the watch was indeed fake even though it looked real from the inside.
Do your due diligence and buy watches from trusted sellers!

I'm not getting duped. I got my money back on both of the fakes I received this year. And I buy from mostly legit jewelers but I also buy a lot from private sellers. This so happened to be a private seller who's "friend" sold him this watch.third coast.. said:
