So what other time should we keep on our GMTs when we're home? I dont do an incredible amount of international travel or business these days so theres no specific timezone that would make sense for me. It seems silly to live in central and need to set the GMT to eastern, mountain, or pacific time since I can do basic math. Do I just pick some timezone in Europe and pretend that its critical that I track that timezone at all times? What do yall do?

He does this every so often where he gives anyone without two times set on their gmt hell like it matters. Is anyone here using their submariner for scuba diving? No, didn't think so. It's absurd.

Thanks Mr Speed, like Mr Chem I don't travel much, but it was fun setting the time forward to Eastern when we went to Kentucky or back to Eugene time to watch our son run. To me otherwise, the time is the time.

Maybe after his graduation in May when he moves to Seattle I'll set it there...

As I await my invite to CERN, I've set up powerful magnets in each room at the house to ensure my Rolex Milgauss is performing as expected and will survive the more strenuous conditions at CERN.

While there, I will be continuing my work on Particle Theory that will unlock the origins of our universe.

I would invite you all to follow my journey on CERNs social media outlets, but alas those of you with "Cookie Monsters", "Hulks", "Root Beers", and "Pepsi's" do not have the intellectual capacity to comprehend my work anyway.

To those of you with Railmasters or possibly Ingenieur's, please feel free to follow along.

You're asking what time you should set the GMT hand to on your GMT? Yes, there is a specific time zone in Europe.

I like to use my GMT hand like a compass, every morning when I wake up, I face true north and set the hand to 12 and then pull out the crown so the watch doesn't move.

The only problem is that it's only accurate if I'm facing true north, and the watch doesn't actually keep time

As this thread is no stranger to grammatical nitpicking I feel compelled to point out the possessive apostrophes on your plural 'Pepsi' and 'Ingenieur'

I wish they'd make a GMT with two GMT hands. That way I could see central time three ways at once, or you could do north and south

I'm a scientist; not a grammarian.

I don't find GMT watches to be particularly attractive, so not having a use for the extra hand (set to GMT, travel a lot, track a relative's time zone) makes no sense to me.

lol, I see Big timezone got to you as well. "Greenwich" is the biggest gaslight job since the convection oven; is it in Connecticut? Is it in the UK? Some say both, most say neither; don't let that distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that he just went into Harry's and bought three t6 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.

Rolex website has the new MSRPs posted

I'll probably get a call about a Daytona tomorrow since the prices went up.

Lololol just got a text from my AD yesterday that they had a Batman and Bruce Wayne available if I wanted either. Wonder if they showed up in store before or after 1/1.

If I wanted to get a brand new Daytona 126500LN, who would be my best contact to reach out to? Looking for brand new in box. Not going to wait 100 years at a Rolex Dealership but ready to pull the trigger.

Just curious, I know you typically deal in luxury watches, but are you also able to get your hands on lesser known brands? I am potentially eyeing a Muhle Glashutte in a few months. Right now I'm thinking of ordering from Exquisite Timepieces, but wouldn't mind doing business with a fellow Ag.

I'd be happy to try and source it for you when you're ready. Some of these are hard to find so I can't promise anything but happy to give it a shot for you.

New watch day! It's a more casual version of the gold one I have to be my every day watch. I'm developing a brand affinity for Longines

I've got some pics for ya! Hah. I literally just took it out of the box so it isn't sized yet, but is a nice casual balance to its more elegant friend

Longines is probably my favorite brand out there right now, even though I have only one piece from them. I think they're at the pinnacle of the value pyramid even ahead of Tudor.

I just picked up the Zulu "bruce wayne" GMT. Absolutely gorgeous watch with great specs for not a lot of $$$

Longines may be on par if not ahead of TAG, but I don't think they come close to being the same caliber watch as what Tudor produces.
