Market has been softening for a couple of years but for the most part it's been stable for the past 6 months.

Lots more watches can be had at closer to msrp than before. Part of that also has to do with Rolex raising prices several times and gray staying the same

Mark at Long Island Watch used to do videos called "watch and learn" that are pretty informative and answer a lot of watch questions such as "what's a helium escape valve do?" for example
