anyone ever worn one of these Steinhart Pilot's?

same basic movement as the IWC but without that pesky $5K pricetag.

I don't like the fact that you can't try it on though.

Steinhart are great overall; and even better for the money; I kind of consider them a better German-version of Christopher Ward. I heavily recommend the above watch and actually think the blued hands make it looks sharper than the IWC which goes for 8k or whatever.

Steinhausen however is miserable.

Gotcha. I didn't really know how to read your last post.

I don't usually like chrono's either but the IWC's (and their followers) have a pretty clean look to me.

I might be just alone on that. I prefer the 7 day Portuguese over the chrono Portuguese IWC as well. Still really want that blue hand one.

You can find them at pretty much any Jared or Kays jeweler or the like. Any decent sized outlet mall should have them as well.

I've got several Steinhart watches. A couple of pilots (hand wind and vintage titanium) and the Pepsi dial GMT diver. All great watches. Have had each of them from 2-4 years and they are holding up well.
