I have the regular, less expensive version with the black face and standard grey ceramic bezel, it is the thickest damn watch I've ever seen. It didn't fit under any cuff I owned; and I was constantly banging it against doorknobs.

The motto is "buy the seller first". Both of those guys are a+ guys with global reputations. They have a lot to lose by stiffing a customer. In a transaction, someone has to be the Guinea pig and that's on the buyer.

I wouldn't buy a watch off amazon outside of a skx007 or a luminox or others in excess of $1000. Both of these guys are peddaling 100% real watches and a lot of new watches come with your name on the warranty card.

I have a skx031 that I like, but I want something a little bigger and that is more diver than sports watch.

I love it as well...even though it's my 3rd black diver.

Check out the Monster. You won't touch a watch like this elsewhere for the cost of it.

I've had my Omega Seamaster for a few years now and it's such a great watch. Lots of great watches showing up in this thread!

No. I'd say it's the benchmark watch for a lot of people, but there are better brands (more and less expensive) out there.

it's kind of funny, but when you go down the "rabbit hole" of high end watches; you realize that the most popular rolexes (submariner, datejust, explorer, sea dweller, etc) are kind of like the BMW 3-series of high end watches; and the Audemars, FP Journe, Patek, etc etc are the real "high end" ones. Even then, you still have some of the crazy Roger Dubuis, Richard Mille ones that go for more than a rich man earns in a year.

It's definitely the most well known luxury watch company.

I'm not a huge fan of Rolex but I like that one that BAC posted earlier.
