Green Hamilton (and pink Jordans).. Thumbs up for you sir
This is a good looking watch.TheOC16 said:
Anybody need a bronze watch?
This one's totally unworn, full kit, so that patina is going to be all yours. And at $2,900, that's cheaper than I can find any USED models online.

How does the Black Bay compare to sports watch offerings from the luxury brand set (Rolex, Patek, Christopher Ward, etc)?

Hi, Farmer…

Beautiful watch, congrats.
I love my RGM, but it's a recased Hamilton not their own movement.
What pushed you toward the enamel over guilloche?
Zobel said:
Congrats. I'm jealous.
I have an RGM 222 with a caliber 923 movement, which is a recased Hamilton pocket watch. Roland Murphy was a Hamilton guy.
And what was the deciding factor between the 801-CE and the 801-E ?

It took me a minute to appreciate Farmer's completely blunt statements and thoughts on watches. This is the "high end and luxury watch" forum so technically I can't fault him for calling certain watch brands trash. He's just doing his thing.
I'm sure he's as sweet as a Georgia peach in real life.
Except what he says doesn't line up with the world's opinion of high end and craps on anything not "ultra luxury "
