I'm north of Weatherford. It was running over my gutters at 6 am this morning when I left the house. It looked just like driving into a car wash as I pulled out of the garage this morning.

Been slow and steady light-mediumish rain here in McKinney for almost two hours now. Definitely where this storm is going to make it's money worth on the rain gauge totals methinks.

Almost 5 inches total so far. Nice that it is steady enough that all my drainage systems are keeping up.

Dog isn't too happy though about missing his morning walk

It's called Raindrop. Seems fairly accurate from what I've seen (at least as far as when it actually rains or not, no way to be sure without a real gauge)

Same. Sitting at 4.3in so far. Pretty lazy rainfall, nothing crazy. Very muffled thunder at one point but that's it.

All in all, gotta say this has been a pretty pleasant storm so far.

DFW airport has been a **** show today. Multiple ground stops due to the storm, and now another ground stop due to VIP traffic.

I guess POTUS is in town for something?

My flight to DFW was cancelled this morning after several delays and rebooked to a later one, and is now facing more delays. I'm ready to go home!

I have a low lying area in my backyard that holds water with torrential rain (it has a drain but can take awhile).

At no point today have I seen standing water back there. It's looked like a lake in the past. Good, slow rain.

I don't think there's going to be nearly as much runoff as normal.

They landed sometime after 1:30 p.m. at DFW today. 114 is currently shut down from Roanoke to grapevine so I'm guessing the motorcade is rolling through right now. They are definitely late

Could be movement on the sides. Maybe run soakers on both sides and even along the sides of the pool deck, if applicable. At least in conditions like we had this year.
