Holy Hell- this lightning show in FW is amazing. I'd rather not be up at 5AM, but if I have to be, I'll take that.

Usually know it's coming, but this one was a surprise.

I'm just happy I got a nice light rain in The Colony for about an hour, so much better than a heavy rain where most of it is going to runoff anyway. Definitely better for the lawn and landscaping.

I had new gutters installed around the entire roof in our new house on Friday. That's why I'm just dying to see some rain so I can see them in action. Apparently it rained around 2 am but I missed it.

I can do you one better. On Sunday I finally caved and put out 300' of soaker hoses and started running 45 minutes a day. All it took was doubling my water bill to get rain over here.

It was soooo cold on my dog walk this morning. I fear we have angered the sun god!
