Does anyone know if palidos(sp?) is still in fort worth? It was a great, small Mexican restaurant in north ft worth i think.

There were two locations of Palido's here in the North Dallas/Richardson/Plano area, but I haven't seen them in years. They must have gone out of business some time ago.

The JT McCord in South Arlington started off as an Applebee's franchise, then became a privately owned place called Ebenezers, which was later bought out by JT McCords (I had friends that worked there through these transitions).

It then became a short lived Mexican restaurant, then a Chinese Buffet called "Tai Pan", I believe it is still a Chinese place.

Next to the Hooters off of Little Road/IH 20 for those who don't know what I am talking about.

Do any of you south-west arligton people know if feather beach is still a martin high hang out? It was always a fun place to go if you were looking for some trouble against a "rival" high school. Lots of hot chicks as well.

I cant believe no-one has brought this up. Anybody else old enough to remember cruising cooper and then the UTA parking lot? Those were some good times.

I don't know about Cooper, but I spent the majority of Saturday nights between the ages of 16-18 cruising Forest Ln. Back before the "no cruising" zones and the gangland activity, it was a good time ...

I was going to talk about Forest Lane earlier....we would just cruise up and down all night.

It's funny that this was before cell phones and computers, but everybody knew where to go.

Also, hanging out in the Plano Sr. High parking lot.

There is/was a Pulido's restaurant in Arlington on Matlock, maybe near Arbrook or so.

When Arlington's cruising went to the south 40 parking lot at UTA, they killed it. Guess that was the purpose, though.

What aboug Khaki's in SW Arlington? Is it still there?

Does anyone remember the name of the soda/ice cream shop on 303, behind Pancho's? I loved their Italian sodas. There was also an ice cream/soda shop in the Parks Mall when it first opened.

I don't know about Feather Beach, anymore. We always went to Howard Moore Park., though. In hindsight, it's not a great idea to hang out in a place that frequently attracted police attention--and only had one way in/out. Talk about shooting fish in a barrel.

We did our roller skating at Skate Ranch.

Khakis is still there.

The soda shop behind Pancho's (which is no longer there) I believe was called Frisco's

Don't know about Feather Beach, I haven't been there on a Friday night in a long time.

I believe Pulido's is still in SW Fort Worth. Their chips taste like soap to me!
