Noticed that Sweet Eugene's bought the building at 100 W. Brookside Dr, Bryan (on South College) last year. Future second location or relocation in the future?

My only question is what are they going to do with other structure on property that looks a kindling for another fire?
I'd feel a lot better about these corporate locations if it stayed in College Station. DoubleDave's is based in Austin, Grub was based in Austin before it merged, nu-Layne's is Dallas-based if I recall.Hornbeck said:
That was the case with the local Layne's shops, until the founder sold them back to the corporation.
Dang that is a pretty high price point for bar food. Hope it is excellent and does well but $17-18 bucks for a burger or chicken sandwich is steep. Not to mention $17 for 6 wings.TyHolden said:

$17 + 8.25% tax + 20% tip gets you to $21.80 for 6 wings. Add to that the parking and it gets expensive.KidDoc said:Dang that is a pretty high price point for bar food. A lot of our "locally owned" bars and restaurants and/or the properties are owned by persons in Austin, Waco, Houston and the DFW area.PS3D said:I'd feel a lot better about these corporate locations if it stayed in College Station. I've wondered about Fuego and expanding. They reached a peak of four locations about ten years ago (two Waco, San Marcos) and then just stopped.
