Heard a rumor today that Tim Horton's is looking at expanding here. Canadians, rejoice!
They apparently opened a store in Austin and its all the rage.
There is one in Houston as well. It wasn't too bad. I'm not normally one for regular plain donuts or donut holes, but theirs were tasty.

A couple in Katy too - would make a nice addition since Krispy Kreme is no more.

I could go for a Bubba Gump. Even chain seafood beats the lack of non-Cajun and non-fried options.

I know, Christopher's, Republic… yadda, yadda.

Maybe I should start franchising my mother's Maine clam chowder and various haddock recipes locally. Food truck possibility there.

Nah.

Horton in Canada are far superior to any Dunkin or Krispy I've visited. I'm all for them if they deliver the experience I've had in Canada.

No hockey trading cards at Tim's in the United States.

Not exactly "going" but REI announced the end of its "Experiences" division (no more travels, tours, or classes). I thought for a minute they were closing down their stores and while that would be rough, I visited REI a few days ago and went out thinking "I'd rather have Albertsons back".

I like REI.

But I heard they were having rough times around the time they started construction here.

There are more employees than customers every time I've been there.

I thought that location was a Randals

Originally, yes but most recently before REI it was an Albertsons
