Horton in Canada are far superior to any Dunkin or Krispy I've visited. I'm all for them if they deliver the experience I've had in Canada.

Not exactly "going" but REI announced the end of its "Experiences" division (no more travels, tours, or classes). I thought for a minute they were closing down their stores and while that would be rough, I visited REI a few days ago and went out thinking "I'd rather have Albertsons back".

Not sure, but if you haven't tried Siam Iyara Thai yet, you should. My only complaint is no liquor license so I can't have a cold beer to wash down my green curry, but that's a small complaint since I'm normally there at lunch anyway.

They've been semi-closed for months (maybe years) now. Very limited hours. Also, I believe the diner itself has been closed for quite some time. Sad, really. That used to be the big draw.

Does anyone think landscaping for any of our fancy new medians will be a thing coming in 2025? I drove down Greens Prairie for the first time in a while this past weekend, and I wasn't the least bit surprised to see that the planters in the medians are still full of nothing but weeds.

A permit was issued for The Deason At Jones Crossing, which will be a 276-unit apartment complex to be built behind the Jones Crossing HEB. The additional Phase II plans call for additional 12-15,000 sq ft of retail, additional pad site development, and a new traffic light.

The only median planters that are half way well maintained long term are the ones on Texas from University to GB. The University ones from S College to Welborn are nice but wouldn't say long term yet ….
