Perhaps this is a fluke. Perhaps it doesn't mean, per KBTX, that children need to be vaccinated.
But children do get sick and apparently require hospitalization.
Compared to flu and RSV that is trivial. They don't share any information but I'm 99% certain those kids have other health issues.
I'm all for vaccinating kids with risk factors, I think it is foolish to vaccinate all 12-18 year olds especially with the recent data on myocarditis cases and that the vaccines are not very good at preventing the spread of delta variant.
