My husband registered. He was emailed 5 forms to fill out. One of them is a 'CommonSpirit Health COVID-19 Employee Vaccination Program Authorization for Use or Disclosure' form. I'm hoping that the sign-up is not just for employees?
Shouldn't be. They've had internal signups since they got their first shipment.

My Dad was visiting my Mom at St Joe's yesterday and when he entered through the main entrance he was asked if would be interested in being vaccinated. Apparently they said there were a few left over doses from vaccinating health care workers and needed to be used ASAP (Pfizer - short half life). Needless to say he said yes.
This is good news. I'm curious if the decision to release back up doses earlier reserved for second shots will cause problems down the road or be a big nothing burger. Time will tell.ToxicAG said:

Initially no code was required which was likely a mistake.
We didn't need a code earlier. I think they locked it down after spots filled.

State vaccine "Dashboard" was showing 12K as 1A Group. Yesterday they updated their "Summary" tab that shows 99K in "frontline & vulnerable"(did not specify a group).
I am GUESSING that's the new "next in line" group. As 1B is now a catch all group.
The state's spreadsheet shows 186K people 16+, 22K people 65+, 11K 1A healthcare, and 1,300 1A long term care.
If the next group is truly 99K out of 186K, there's going to be a LONG WAIT for A LOT OF PEOPLE.
But who knows? Seems like new plan every week.

Maybe if the County / Hospitals / Pharmacies communicated *something* instead of *nothing*, we wouldn't have to "game" the "system". While I see little evidence of this being a "system", it's felt like a "game" around here for the last 9+ months.
Hopefully ya'll will get your shots, but be prepared just in case you're turned away.

We received a confirmation email and the forms to fill out and bring along for our time this week. This is Phase 1b. They are saying St.Jos has received additional vaccines so hopefully more of these will open up soon.
