Sully's building would take a lot of work. They could just move into Tony Roma's without having to do anything.
A downtown location would also be nice.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I've heard a rumor of where they are wanting to open their new location, and its not in Downtown, Tony Roma building, or Sullys location.

Yeah Northgate is such a mecca of dying businesses.
I really don't think the Lacks Center is jinxed. The Lacks chain died because they expanded too fast, which led to enormous debt. That led to overinflated prices. Why should I spend $399 for a wood bench there, when I could go to Star and pay $299? Most of the failures in the center have been from bad management.
Quiznos, the Indian places, Big Johnson's Deli all died there. It's not a good location. Last few times I've been to Ohana it looks like its on life support too.
Plus Schlotzsky's and Bourbon St. to name a couple more.

Jinxed locations...I remember that place that was so jinxed over by ...well, where Grub Burger is kicking a55 now! Nobody had any luck there....

Pretty sure every establishment in that space before Grub was a Dallis restaurant.
My subtlety again overwhelms....
At some point the quality of the operator needs to be taken into account. That is not the only factor, but failure is often directly tied to the operator knowing what they are doing.

I was told that there isn't a way that CE could move into the Lack's Center, because all the space has been leased to other tenants.

I'd probably go to either Tower Point or the Target shopping center if I was the Dallis bros.

Where was the Padre Café? Never heard of it. Which old Safeway? That covers about 6 locations in BCS.

Not true about Parker Lumber. It was bought but not to be a restaurant. It was bought my BCS Modern Living for office space.

Icehouse was purchased by the guys who own Ambrose Furniture. I believe they are planning to develop it into a retail/restaurant concept
