OP? I heard we might have good news? Found extremely dehydrated is what I saw.

I'll add my source was my aunt. My cousin (her daughter) is married to the OP's brother - so the missing person is my cousin's FIL. West Texas is tight....and he was an admin at our school and we went to the same church for a while.

i read that they found him at 1p MST and he's being transported to the hospital, if not already there.

I was going to hold off until we better understand medical condition from his dehydration but yes they found him and he's responsive and at the hospital.

God is so good and thank you for the prayers.

I'll follow up eventually with details of everything but going to spend time with my dad for now.

Awesome news! Ii was never going to post it, but definitely feared the worst when I saw the OP, and have been following it. Hoping against hope for an ending like this.

And I bet he's out hiking as soon as they let him go again. If he does, convince him to get an iPhone 15, it has satellite 911 service if there's no cell.
