Momentum is building following A&M's Lone Star Elite Day weekend

Mike Elko and his staff just hosted their first big-time high school recruiting weekend, welcoming a strong group of local and national prospects for the Lone Star Elite Day on Saturday. Already a success, the weekend produced a commitment and plenty of other positives.

Recruiting never stops, and roster development and analysis are constantly ongoing.

Since the first of December, the 2026 class has signed, the portal window has opened, early enrollees have moved in, the portal window has closed, and Mike Elko and his staff have hosted their first high school recruiting events, welcoming a strong group of local and national prospects for the Lone Star Elite Day on Saturday.

How strong was the group? Really strong, very impressive if I may say so.
