The owner likely doesn't want it for the same reason the bank doesn't, it will cost too much money to get the vehicle. The owner would have to travel from Maine, then pay a huge toll, then get the vehicle running again. I doubt that the car is worth that effort, especially after he's already taken a hit to his credit.

The bank can't recover enough at auction on the thing to cover the expense of repoing it.

It will sit there until ABIA decides to do something with it, and that will likely take a very long time.

There are 2 different posters being referred to above.

LMCane who posts a ton on Politics, but also makes his rounds on B&I and Real Estate.

Then there's txaggieacct who mainly posts on B&I board always gloating about how he's debt free, made millions in stock market, owned his own business, and carries the mortgages for his kids (meaning he loaned them the money and they're paying him back).

Airport likely didn't pay attention to it until this. Now that the owner and bank have told them they don't want it, the parking authority will place a storage lien on it. After the notice period for abandonment, they will get the title from the bank and sell it at auction.

One of you rich guys should buy it from the airport and give it back to HO(if he exists)
