I don't think it's going to turn like they've said. I believe the recon mission this evening is going to sample a lot of the upper level atmosphere around the storm to get a better idea on steering currents which should help. Damn thing is close to cat 5 right now.

Irma had a sharp northward turn along the backside of the subtropical ridge very similar to this (although much further west)

Lane reversals and evacuation start here at noon tomorrow. It's been 4 years in a row now.

I'm waiting until at least this time tomorrow to make any decisions. If it's coming here 1 or less, stay. 3 or more, go. 2, a lot of us who live nearby would need to talk and it's more of a tossup. Same for out over water.
