I'm definitely going to give this a look. Looks great based on all the commercials for it. It also helps having some major input from the dude from Sicario and Hell or High Water. Both are excellent movies.

All in all, a few "Hollywood" moments aside... I liked it. Plus, a lot of it was actually filmed around Bozeman. A good friend of mine, the official photog of the PBR, lives outside Bozeman and confirmed.

As an aside, my friend once told me that Montana winters exist to keep the mosquitoes and Texans out of Montana. I can verify. If it weren't for the winters, I'd love to live in Montana (if I had to leave Texas.)

I'm torn, but I think that's the best of the three movies. I definitely can relate to the other two more, but still think it goes:

1. Wind River
2. Hell or High Water
3. Sicario

Wind River is a really good movie.

Extremely hard for me to compare the three movies though... I enjoy each one of them, almost equally, but for different reasons.

The sister is an interesting character.

Taylor Sheridan is a really good screenwriter. Sort of Elmore Leonardish in the way he can turn a phrase.
