I ended up watching episode 1 on Dish VOD, which is superior to how I had to watch episode 2 like a peon. I love this show. But I also loved Longmire, Justified, Hell or High Water, Hell on Wheels, and Deadwood. Never really took to The Son, though. Made it through part of Episode 1.

I love Yellowstone because its quite literally got everything I like....sex, profanity, guns, f--- you attitude, cowboys/indians killing each other, indians *****ing about stolen land, cowboys doing stupid *****...I mean it checks all the boxes for stereotypes and my insatiable need for violence on TV. I heart it all.

Costner was a good grab for the part. I wish they could have thrown in Timothy Olyphant as one of the sons though..that would have been awesome.

Seems like it. There was a a thread on the Entertaiment forum and someone made the point that Kayce May not be Duttons biological son since he has the brand.

I don't think it's that simple.

He got instant street cred when they saw it.

I think it's more to do with a former criminal/lowlife that basically "owned" by the ranch. Not an employee rather someone with nowhere else to go and has been taken in by the ranch.

I am curious what SOF Kayce will end up being. I am assuming he it will morph into he is a former SEAL that has some liberal leanings.

The choice for his wife pissed off a lot of Native Americans.....she is half Chinese......I'm not complaining

Oh man am I getting hooked on this show

Between the BSC daughter, the trigger happy trouble finding son and the "branded" you dont know whats going to happen next.

Last night episode shed a lot of light on the brand and the power it carries.

I'll be cautious of anyone giving me a ride to a train station from now on...
