I'm on 2 acres so we have a few hundred feet to sight down as well.
Is 2nd weekend confirmed? Long time lurker (especially Bender's thread)...want to finish a beginner build from Eyeguy (will bring extra, extra booze), but mostly to observe/learn.
P.S. - i am really close on my build and just think i am using the wrong duct tape and tie wraps to cross the finish line...

I'd be ok with latter January as expecting a baby to come so probably shouldn't be away from CS that close to when the little nugget shows up.
However if this event happened in CS.... I think any time would be fine...

Another option, and I'd rather do this at someone's barn since I think it'd be more fun and laid back, but we do have the extra space next door. If we do it before I knock the wall down (mid January) we can set up shop and do it there. Not sure we can do the bourbon side of things and no where to cook out but we do have the space.
We are moving forward in the best possible direction, by Mid-Jan she will be ok (I believe). Literally I'd be fine with as many folks as want to show up. I am limited on counter and table space, but if folks want to bring folding tables or something of that nature feel free to!
Do bring your own chairs as I've got about 9-12 plastic lawn chairs but that's it.

Don't fret. Mid to late Jan is a better time anyway. Gotta let hunting season finish, plus it will give me some time to get a couple pieces Cerakoted. When you get the date set, please advise on what to bring besides our AR parts and a chair.

I vote for mid-afternoon start (at the latest) so those of us who have to drive are packed up and back home by mid-evening.
