Might be in depending on the weekend. Not sure if my new barrel will be in yet to swap out on an upper, but would be an interesting meet up.

I would be interested depending on dates. I wouldn't bring anything to build but could bring extra tools for those in need. Would be good to meet some of y'all in person so I don"t feel like such an outsider...

I can definitely host actually, have a huge barn to work in or can do it in the converted garage. But live in Fulshear/Rosenberg. Don't think that's a central location to everyone.

I'd even offer to smoke some pork ribs since this was my plan. I just don't have tools, and I marred up my first build using a tiny screw driver as a roll-pin.

I'd rather do it at your place. I can bring whiskey and tools. I just need a sturdy table/bench to clamp my vise to if someone needs an upper assembled.

It'd never get out of the garage room. The garage door is non-functional and the room itself is fully enclosed with Sheetrock.

It's a converted attached garage, just doesn't have ac so it isn't included on tax appraisals.

Also, anyone that wants to do a build at this... I'll put together something special for it. Not trying to turn this into a moneymaker for me but I'll do an extra hookup to anyone coming out and doing the build there.
