Family let me sneak in one round just now. One round played, one round won!

With three squads left we holed up in a room for a minute and let them fight. When the ring forced us out, I Ramboed out of there and shotgunned a Caustic to death. One of my teammates got the last dude, and that was all she wrote!

Hey, based on the number of EVA-8 shots I had to fire to take that guy down, he had full health and maybe shields, too! XD

Loving it so far. Only one win, but it's been a blast

Awesome win tonight. We were part of the final three and we are making preparations for the end game. We hear the other two teams engaging far off and as we start heading that direction... "You are the Champion!" Lol, what!?

Not sure if it was a double elimination, if they died outside the zone or what, but I guess a win is a win. Bittersweet because we had just had 3 heartbreaking 2nd place finishes.

Another day, another dub!

Tried to squad up last night with a guy from another website and his brother. They had just started a match, so I said "cool, I'll go play one and then we'll meet back up."

I get into a squad with a couple of guys with promising stats. I actually played Lifeline, so my banner was showing them that I had like 3 kills and the Valentine's Day badge equipped. I wonder what they were thinking. XD

Anyway, we dropped semi-hot and I think I got two kills before going down myself. Another guy goes down and our third ends up running to a revive station and bringing us back. All throughout this I'm the only one on mic, but the other guys have the speaker icon so I continue to make relevant comments and they acted like they could hear me.

Somehow we got re-equipped pretty quickly; I ended up with a Spitfire and an R-301. Man, I have been sleeping on the 301! That thing shreds up close and shoots as far as I could want it to. I find you seldom want to shoot farther than an AR can in this game because people can just take cover and heal, or even revive.

We blazed a trail through the rest of the game and ended up winning the rest of the match without much of a sweat. - and probably in less time than any other win I've had. I thought I was gonna get the badge for having a squad where everyone got 3+ kills but one guy only got one. Still, I think he was the guy who revived the two of us and he was a solid teammate.

Afterwards, I got back into the party with the other guys. I asked them how their match went. "Pretty good. Yeah, we lasted a long time, didn't see anyone for most of the game. How about you?"

"We won."

"Dude, why are you messing with us? Seriously?"

We load into our game and our squad is displayed as the champions. "See? I told you!" XD

This thread needs more posts! I still can't stop playing! Got another dub this morning. =D

First played the game two weekends ago and I couldn't believe how rusty I am at first person shooters! I lost just about every gunfight!

Yesterday was a bit better with 4 wins and finally some kills! They really have done a good job removing the things I hated about pubg, such as: so long to start a new game, staring too long at inventory screens, and the circle deciding you are winning that match.

Haven't had a win the last 2 days. So frustrating lol but still addicted to the game! I'm usually on after 8pm for a few hours if anyone wants to squad up on xbox.

I played a few rounds for the first time this weekend. It seemed like in more than one round everything was in slow motion because of lag for a significant part of the round.

It made it pretty much unplayable. Is this normal on Xbox?

Happens to me every now and then too. Not sure if it's a lag thing or just poor performance.

I was having the same issue yesterday on XBox. It would play fine for about 15 seconds, then would lag and rubber-band. I lost a good shot at a match win because of it, I lagged right before taking a shot on the last guy from the other squad and he got the jump on me. Saturday night I didn't have the issue.

I stream Apex several nights a week. I'd love to get some games in with Texags people and maybe get a follow So close to affliate!

Finally got another win tonight! Had a few second place games but finally got a win with a couple kills and revives.

Can't decide on my main guy yet. Keep bouncing between wraith and lifeline.

So my son (9 this month) has started playing a little Apex... him and his buddies are Fortnite vets. Like most little kids he lacks strategy, but if you point him in the right direction he'll knock 'em down.

He brags every time he gets a win and the other day he claimed he got a win with 7 kills. Impressive! So we fire up a couple games before his bedtime last night and I say to him "7 kills? Prove it". On the 2nd game (after our random left the match) we get a win and he has 7 kills! My headset is filled with the cries of a young boy "OH YEAH, I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU!!!"

LOL, I only had 2 kills but I had a hefty majority of the damage done. The little jerk was kill stealing, but hey, 7 kills is 7 kills and at the end I was crawling on the ground knocked while he finished off the last 2. Good times!

I finally 100% completed the achievements for Apex on Xbox. I never realized how difficult getting a win with all the legends would be. Now to get 20k damage with each legend for the badge. Two down, 6 to go.

I need to get a win with Gibraltar and then I'll have all the achievements. At that point I don't think I'll go badge chasing, I'd rather just stick with my mains and play the game.

He was my last legend to win with also. For some reason it was a pain in the butt to get a win with him. I needed Randos to carry me like always lol
