I love all the maps. The mountain map is hard as hell though. Would love a Omaha beach map.

I really enjoy the game, but I'm annoyed at all the bugs and the fact that only a few online modes are available. I paid a 20 dollar premium to play an unfinished game early. Oh well....when it works correctly it's awesome.

What bugs are you running into?

I just finished my EA early access last night and the only issue I've seen was yesterday when I had to hit start before every map for my controller to work. Other than that, I've had zero issues.

I'm running into the start thing as well. Main issue I've been constantly having is after a match, I get into an infinite loading screen. The top squad loads, then the screen just starts flashing and nothing happens. I don't see my stats, progression, etc.

Also having lots of latency issues...thought it was my connection but it's never been an issue before.

The best thing to do is hard reboot the game every time before starting on XBOX One. It tends to remove the bugs before you get in game.

I haven't noticed any bugs other than my game crashing right after I called in my first V2 - didn't even get to see the kaboom. I ordered the BB Black Friday package last night though since I have a 4K tv.

What do you mean by "hard reboot?" I was considering a reinstall. I'm rarely getting that post-game screen bug but happened a couple times today. Other than that the bugs i experienced at launch have resolved.

If you press the 3 line button on the game in the Xbox menu, then quit the game, it will boot the game fresh.

Ok, i do that every time I'm done playing so it's fresh next time i start it up.

Just do it when you boot up the Xbox, before you go through the process of loading in to the game. The game tends to act weird with the save state loading caused by instant-on, but quick reboots tend to alleviate it to a degree. It won't guarantee it never happens, but it does cut down on frequency.

PC player here. And zero issues. The only problem I have is having to stop playing and go to bed.

This game has an insane progression system.

Class - Rank 20 is max rank for each class, at rank 10 you unlock proficiency assignment for uniform cosmetics, at level 20 you unlock epic class uniform cosmetics through the mastery assignments. All other ranks unlock guns and melee weapons.

Weapons - The first four levels are the specializations to tweak your weapon. Level 5 for a weapon unlocks 4 levels of proficiency assignments for cosmetics, and level 10 unlocks 4 levels of mastery assignments for cosmetics.

Vehicles - Four ranks of specializations for each individual vehicle.

Enjoying it so far. Played a round with Taco last night and he revived me ~6 times. Ended up with only 1 death.

To AquasAg, I wasn't ignoring you last night. Was just about to get off when you sent invite.

Thoughts so far, I really enjoy it! Was kind of unenthusiastic at first, but it's grown on me the past few days.

I should be on pretty heavy the next few days. Holler

Wow that's surprising. Didn't this Battlefield plan on free DLC too? You can pretty much scrap that goodbye past the initial DLC release (i.e. what was cut from the original game to meet deadlines)

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a remaster of BF2 or BF3 next to get this franchise back on track

If nobody is playing the game, which seems logical based on what is being reported, EA will do to this what they did to Battlefront 2. Release basically no new content for months and months and when they do it will be a tiny amount of non material things.

I bought this game and was excited for it but other than installing it, I haven't played it because I'm all into Red Dead Redemption 2 whenever I get time. Maybe that's the case with a lot of folks? I'll play it some over Christmas but my playing time is limited because I'm so busy so it's Red Dead 2 for a while. Eventually I'll get around to it though.

Every time I play, I'm in queue for five minutes at least.

Reserved my copy for pick up after class today.

The longest I've had to wait has been 30 seconds. That is, unless I'm trying to join a game you're in. Then I wait forever in the queue.

Yea, I think that's probably what it is. I'm usually attempting to join on someone.

The Best Buy Black Friday package that I ordered last Sunday was just delivered. When I was playing the 10 hour trial the servers I was in were always full. It's crazy they dropped the price that much so soon.

Target is the only place I've seen this price. By comparison, everyone had RDR2 for $40 recently with some other game thrown in. I think they are all gunning for schmucks to pay for clothing and quick advancement.

Even when I join a game solo I have to wait 1:30 or so. I also only play at peak times.

Waiting a short time to play is a good thing. Population is very high due to the game being so damn good. If that wait is too long for you then get Black ops. No wait time ever......

I've been a fan of the BF series from the very beginning. But BF1 put a damper on my expectations for BF5, and I can honestly say that I'm more than a little bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I think it is definitely better than BF1. However, it just seems like it is a better version of BF1 and not a completely new game.

I jumped on the $30 Target price today. At the very least I know Pilmer will still be around playing it for two years
