Meh, there hasn't been a WWII BF game on the xboner, so the only competition is the COD game from last year or the other, smaller series like Sniper Elite.

Lolz. I'll give them a chance with this one. Hopefully it feels more like battlefield than battlefield 1 did. At the same time, I'm confused by this trailer, because they've been emphasizing "V, not 5", and now they release this before the reveal? People have talked about how it could be Vietnam, so I'm surprised they're seemingly just giving out what era the game is in like this. Maybe they're messing with us? Idk.

I'm most likely going to have to crowd-source all funds for future video game purchases. That or see if I can get an NSF grant funded for video game research.

Yes, definitely need to do something about the grenade spam. Need to severely limit the resupply on those things.

It's going to have to be more than just new maps though. BF1 just didn't have the depth and customization, or even progression, like previous titles. Not a big fan of the various weapon "variants" we have now. I don't want to see BF1 reskinned with WW2 maps and limited weapons is what I'm saying.

Exactly. Their progression system confused and bored me at the same time. Not to mention aiming down iron sites for most of the weapons was a big "no thanks" for me. If they can make the upgrade and progression system fun again that will go a long ways to bringing me back onboard.
