BF1 just didn't have the depth and customization, or even progression, like previous titles. Not a big fan of the various weapon "variants" we have now. I don't want to see BF1 reskinned with WW2 maps and limited weapons is what I'm saying.

just thought about how cool it would be to have an entire team parachute onto the map Overlord or Market Garden style.
Not even sure what that is, lol. I didn't put much time into BF1 really, so the answer to your question is probably zero. But that's sorta the point we were making, BF1 just didn't have the hooks early on to keep some of our interest. trailer was pretty underwhelming, but I like what they've said so far at least.
Trailer looked cool, but so did bf1 trailer. No battle Royale either. No premium pass is cool, but I'm not super hyped for this one.
I have yet to play a Battlefield game that I didn't enjoy. I don't expect that to change, although this event did little to start the hype train towards E3.
Operations is a huge win. War Stories was unique and there are so many different routes they can take with such a monumental war. I also enjoyed the Battlefield 3 Co-op so I am excited to see it return.
No premium pass was a no brainer, but the rumored Battle Royale Mode probably plays into that decision.

I don't think there is any doubt that a battle royale mode is coming, it just won't be ready for launch. I wouldn't be surprised to see it launch as a standalone $30 game/DLC in spring 2019. The lack of a premium pass only confirms that in my eyes.HossAg said:

I don't get the trailer.... LOL. I will still buy the game, and grind like a madman. I did enjoy the specialization aspect of the classes.

Think the woman wasn't a soldier. Maybe French resistance or something? But i did see on another vid that you choose the gender of your character. Not a big deal to me but I can understand why some wouldn't be a fan of that.

I really enjoyed the historical accuracy and realism-to the extent possible in developing a game-in BF1.

Agree. Was underwhelming. Nothing screamed ww2 to me. Maybe I expected a different setting or scenario or something. Also they never mentioned Pacific maps which will be a huge miss if those aren't included.
Overall I'm disappointed they went back in time again having just spent 2 years in WWI. They should have jumped back to modern time or given us a sequel to BF 2142... then they could have gone back to WWII for the next one. Feels like same ol' same ol'.
COD & BF both went back into time recently... I think it's a huge mistake that BF is staying there while their rival is giving us black ops. You gotta switch it up!

They way they made it sound in the video, they'll be using "chapters" of content that will move the game around geographically and timeline-wise. They're starting with the fall of Europe and then move on from there, so maybe the Pacific theater will come further down the road?
I sure hope so. I think that idea of progressing through the war could be very cool.
Wow this looks like trash. Huge disappointment after BF1.
According to Jackfrags, this game will be way different. Idk where he got all this info from, but I wish the reveal highlighted these things. Sounds like some pretty radical gameplay differences.
