Collins is busted. It made sense. Cooper is 27 with plenty of productive years ahead. He's been up and down week to week recently, but I think that is far more of a report card on his QB and OC. It's not like he's magically half-assing routes every other week. His age gave them a lot of leeway to work his cap impact.

All that said, looks like a solid UDFA haul following a draft that seems to have addressed needs. Hopeful

He's also the grandson of legendary HC & AD Barry Alvarez.

He was consistently available in the mock draft simulators his highlights aren't bad. Seems athletic enough with good hands.

You def see a pattern of them drafting high level athletes.


One interesting thing I'm reading is that there is a lot of buzz about last years 7th rounder, Faironok, taking that Center position. Apparently he's pushing Biadasz big time. Fairinok is apparently up to over 320 and has a better anchor than Biadasz.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if farniok or one of these UDFA's beat him out. When I was listening to the draft show the other day, Bobby belt, cowboys reporter who is well connected, said that Biadasz might not be smart enough to play center. This was an interesting comment because this is coming from either the coaching staff or front office.

Well the Eagles are winning the nfc East narrative has already started from the media. They conveniently forget Hurts is their QB and Dak has owned the nfc East his entire career (when healthy). Hope the team take it as motivation.

Does this feel like 7-10? With wins coming against redskins, giants and other scrubs. Eagles win the division by a game and then are done first round. And then McCarthy is fired and Quinn is the next head coach

I'm just now getting around to watching some Sam Williams film... holy crap this guy is really good!

I felt this draft had 2 top flight DEs (Hutchinson and Kayvon Thib.)... I felt like the rest were good prospects but not likely to be elite pass rushers. Not anymore... add Williams to that list and this draft had 3 really good DE/pass rushing prospects and the Cowboys got one of them in the 2nd round.

Really excited to watch this kid grow. Double digit sacks is not a fair expectation, but I'd be shocked if his impact isn't felt as a rookie. I'm very much looking forward to this guy and Parsons coming off the edge side by side with stunts, bull rushes, etc!!!

That could also explain why they didn't pull the trigger on Jermaine Johnson in the 1st round.

Agreed. Some players have to go, and after everything if Gregory felt like he could sign then whatever. The Cowboys did everything they could for that guy.

Heard some post draft talk from the Cowboys media guys... if Tyler Smith was off the board and Zion and Kenyon were there instead, the Cowboys would not have drafted either one. Said we would have gone BPA which probably would have been Lloyd or one of those Safeties.

Said they were sorta hoping Green would be gone and they wouldn't have to make that decision. The Cowboys had a lot of concern he would not have a very long NFL career with a degenerative knee.

Had we taken a safety that would be…. Probably easily the first safety we'd taken in the first round in a decade? I don't buy that

I know next to nothing about Tyler Smith but the fact that Jerry went as far as to hold up their big board to prove that they had him ranked higher than Green makes me cringe. Reeks of insecurity about the pick

After the interview Tyler did with the Hardline I can say that I am definitely rooting for him (obviously would anyway seeing as he is a Cowboy now). But he came across as super likeable.

I saw a video that went through the Cowboys draft process and they had some footage of guys on the field during the Dallas Day workouts. For a brief second I swore I caught a glimpse of Starkel. Looks like that was indeed him and he impressed enough to get a call back.

At the very least, hope he can pull a Jameil Showers and hang around the league a few years. Just having that on your resume can really open a lot of doors for him in the future!
