If he would have shown up it would have been the biggest **** show. Even if he wanted to i cant imagine the texans letting him with all the lawsuits still out there

This is the Texans. I'm betting the leash is at least 3-4 seasons apieceKozmozag said:
Caserio and culley will be tainted with the suck that will be on the field. Culley will be fired in 2 years. Caserio shortly after.
It's nice to have a real GM just for simply executing a plan. Not sure if it will all work out but BoB seemed like he did whatever suited his ego at any given moment. And you know, good on the coaching staff for keeping their end of the deal with cancelling minicamp.maca1028 said:
Absolutely, give me RS over the last few years with BoB any day. jury is still out on Nick, probably won't know what kind of GM he is until year 3-4. Unfortunately Rick still the best GM in Texans short history.
Yeah, if the Texans have been consistent on one thing, it's committing to coaches/front office personnel. Often to their detriment, but the organization values stability over a rotating door of coaches/front office.bluefire579 said:This is the Texans. i think they're working working hard to make sure either there are no average Texans fans left or there is no hope left, so it doesn't matter.MaximusDMeridius said:
What is the hope for the average Texan's fan? As a cowboy's fan, I was hoping for losses after Dak went down. I guess you can't go into a season thinking like that but curious.

The average fan wants things to smooth over with Deshaun and for the team to win. But realistically, neither of those is going to happen, so hitting reset and rebuilding talent is all we can hope for. Sans Deshaun, this is the least talented roster the Texans have ever had IMO.

32. Houston Texans
The Texans are expected to be the worst team in the NFL this season, and it doesn't help that superstar quarterback Deshaun Watson is dealing with off-field issues that have put his year in jeopardy. I'm intrigued to see how Lonnie Johnson Jr. performs at his new position of safety, but the Texans simply didn't do enough on the defensive side of the ball this offseason. They were the third-worst defense in the league last season, and could again be at the bottom of the NFL if the offense takes a step backwards as well.
It's all part of the plan...oh no said:

haha yeah. it's one thing for fans to know it, but it's still funny to see national publications talking about itTexan_Aggie said:It's all part of the plan...oh no said:

Sucks that Hard Knocks went with the Cowboys. I'd love to see the camera crew filming interactions between Easterby and Watson

Let's start placing some bets on futility. I'm hopeful for 0-16 but I'm sure they'll blow it and miss out on the #1 pick somehow.
