Texans should prep a three year 0-48 plan to rebuild. With watson, presumably gone, who do you even market as your best player? Are the heb ads going to just be Toro eating ice cream at Scott's house? The gap between my interest in the texans and my interest in my own fantasy football team is the size of the grand canyon and growing.
Julio's biggest liability is availability. If he is on the field and healthy, he's a huge asset, if not, they still didn't give up much in order to add a big name with big play potential. Solid move for the Titans and I hate it. lol

The funny part to me is this means Caserio was looking for "best QB available" rather than anything else... he was going to take a QB even if both Mond and Mills were off the board.

Texans are having a hard time selling tickets because most fans think they will roll out a garbage product. None of this will help.
The more I think about this, the more it makes sense. It benefits the Texans because it squashes all the DW4 questions and doesn't give Uncle Dave the opportunity to answer questions on it. It is clear that when he gets talking, he just talks and forgets to tow the company line. Additionally, the less the Texans practice the worse they'll be, which makes their odds at the #1 pick better.

I agree. But the longer he talks, the bigger the risk of him going off script. The Deshaun questions won't go away until he's traded, so I'm assuming they would prefer to squash it rather than let Dave answer questions for 30 minutes.

No, because he was trying to fleece the Texans for alot of money. He signed a big contract with a huge bonus & guaranteed money because he (and his agent) knew that he would make out huge if/when he forced a trade. He just didnt plan/expect the sexual assault allogations.

every NFL team is guaranteed to make between $250 MM and $300 MM per year in TV revenue whether they go undefeated or winless.
and the number should be closer to $300 MM with the 17th game added.
the Texans' bottomline will be fine with 10,000 empty seats or 20,000 empty seats
They're still profitable for sure, but right now they're ranked #23 on Forbes list of most valuable sports franchises. It will be interesting to watch that change over the next few years.

It's not a huge deal but for a team reeling from a litany of bad decisions and an absolutely terrible season likely looming, it looks bad.

I'm guessing the winky face is because you meant this as a joke of some kind, I don't know. Watson was not going to show up and hasn't talked to the Texans front office or coaching staff.
