Where was the video shot of Jerra at the end? Plenty during the game but no money shot.
He's the biggest problem they have and it's not close.
Seriously....plenty of "happy" shots, but no money shot at the end? Make some wonder if he controls even that somehow? He's got tons of pull.

I don't get the jerry hate anymore. He's built a pretty salty team and it's mostly been through smart drafting.

agreed, the past 3-4 drafts, he's done well. But he did stick with Garrett which has shown to suck at clock management. Either way, there will always be blame on him cuz he runs the whole show

I hope Rodgers gets to the super bowl and Brady dominates. Normally, I can't stand the pats, but I could see Brady retiring ( I think he's 39) if the pats win it all

Brady has said he wants to play til he's 45, don't think he will retire but I've seen stranger things

He built a team that went 13-3 with a rookie QB and looks pretty stout in the future too...he has turned around his GM abilities
You're never going to convince me that Jerry Jones is a good GM. I'll give him the draft this past season, but that's about IT. I've read how many skill position players he's had to be told "NO" by his son on.

I DO agree, though, that this loss is more on Garrett than on Jerry. I just don't believe Jerry is the one doing the drafting exclusively like he used to. We'll see how this next draft and free agency period goes. I will admit I do still hold a grudge over his screwing up the team in the 90's when they were ripe for about 5 Super Bowls in a row.

Is he better now than he was then? Probably have to agree with that, but he's not good, IMO.

He's not a good GM, but he's finally listened to people outside his own head and it's working.

Get some pass rushers, CBs, DL in the draft and get Jaylon Smith healthy.

The legend of Rodgers grows -- Rodgers to Cook wasn't even a called play. Rodgers told each WR what route to run in the huddle, drawing up the play right there.

Without even knowing that, my inclination regarding that play was to tip my cap. He rolled left and threw a dart that far down the field under those circumstances? Heckuva throw and heckuva catch.

Yes, I agree. Rodgers is playing the QB position right now as good as anyone ever has.

He's amazing. You gotta tip your cap to him. He's insanely good, especially right now.

Brady is damn good and he's no where near Rodgers' level right now.

Coming from a Wilson lackey, that is not surprising.

Players don't respect coaches that are lackeys for rich guys. Actually, nobody does to tell you the truth.

Exactly.

Anyone giving credit to Jerrah for their drafting is not informed.

His son and others are having to talk the senile old man out of his picks.

What's funny is that people from Wisconsin are quick to refer themselves as being the "Salt of the earth" and being "Wisconsin Nice". In reality they are sanctimonious d bags that have fat girlfriends.

I'm going to have nightmares of Dak spiking that ball every time I think of this game. Double whammy of losing a down and giving Roger's enough time to beat you. Green Bay was on their heels and they had a chance to regroup and dial up a blitz. I don't know if the Cowboys win in overtime but I wanted to see it.
you people are ridiculous. Spiking the ball was the right call, the 3rd down play dez was wide open on the slant but it got batted down by the d linemen. It's game a game of inches and it didn't workout in our favor on that play. To blame Garrett for spiking the ball and losing the game is such a joke.

I suppose sticking with the shotgun and only giving Zeke the ball 1 TIME on the last scoring drive of the first half when Elliott couldn't be stopped was also the right move, huh?

Those three passes in a row to Witten were the right calls without a doubt. Who cares if it cost a TD, right?

Why are you being confrontational? I was talking about the last offensive series. I agree that we should have fed zek more in the 1st half especially on short yardage downs but you literally contributed nothing to this conversation.

Game was lost long before this. You simply cannot fall in a 21-3 hole and expect to win the playoffs -- especially against Aaron Rodgers. No excuse for coming out and playing the first half the way they did at HOME.

With ~50 seconds left, and each playing taking about ~7 seconds, Cowboys could run a maximum of 7 plays. Maybe even squeezing an 8th counting the kick. I'm not saying that time wasn't a factor, certainly they have to play with tempo, but maximizing the opportunities to move down the field was the higher priority. Obviously 3 opportunities to make 10 yards is more than 2.

A spike is appropriate with ~20 seconds left. At that point you have 2, maybe 3 plays with a kick. Therefore time becomes a higher priority than number of opportunities. To me the math is simple and I fail to see a counter argument in the numbers. I understand that had the Cowboys made a first down the spike would have been moot, but the whole point is that the Cowboys willingly limited their opportunities to make the first down by 33%.

I don't necessarily want to say that Garrett (and his staff) are the only ones who would panic in that situation. Most coaches (including Sumlin) can't manage a game, they manage people. That is a difficult job and one that an Xbox Madden Football junkie can't do. However I am dead serious that I would rather have the Xbox Madden Football junkie making in game, big picture decisions than someone like Garrett. Those kids have more reps than the Garrett's of the world at making these decisions. Those kids would not spike the ball. Football isn't that complicated, in the end it is just basic math.
