Garrett completely outclassed in the early going, as usual. Those 2 penalties cost a minimum of 3, and perhaps as much as 11 points. Completely on coaching. The NFL is mostly about execution.

A blatant hold on dez is 5 yards on a 25 yard route, but illegal substitution is 15 depending on if you make the huddle?

It really is a ridiculous penalty. I'm guessing it was dead ball foul before the whistle as well. Because they picked up a flag way downfield that could offset the penalty.

Really too punitive for simple violation.

Coaching is beating Cowboys right now. Dak looks really good. Bad play-calling, dumb penalties because of coaching, things better change soon. Really need a stop here.

As a non cowboy or packer fan watching this, man the boys shouldn't let butler on the field. 3 straight bad plays, penalty, then not going to get the ball and letting the defender knock it down, then not breaking deep for your QB.

Unsportsmanlike because you could conceivably trick the defense. Guy could run in the huddle, then run into the huddle while a guy on the sideline could take one step onto the field. Still have 11 on the field, D would be disadvantaged.

Not saying it's a good rule, just can seee the reason for it.

I don't get why Buck is blaming butler, other than the fact that he never played. Butler gets sent onto the field by a COACH.
