Searching a rental car that is in his name? Sounds to me like he is a suspect or at the very least a person of interest.

Details emerge today about a lawsuit filed by a guy claiming Hernandez shot him in the eye in the car together after leaving a Miami strip club in Feb.

They don't search your house if you're not a suspect. They may not say you are a suspect at that time, but you are.

Apparently, the victim was dating Hernandez's girlfriend's sister, and the body was found about a mile from Hernandez's house, near a vehicle that Hernandez had rented. At a glance, it looks like the homicide has something to do with Hernandez, or one of the sisters. It's close to his house, and a car he rented was there.

Actually he shot him in the arm and the bullet traveled up his body and came out his eye, but yeah the two were arguing in the vehicle after leaving a strip club.

We do not do athletes favors in coddling them. This guy was set for life but could not control the gangster in him.

Let me just say that I've never been arrested, done any illegal drugs, or giving a citation of any kind other than a speeding ticket...

But how dumb can some of these guys be. I've never even considered any of this, but in two seconds of thought I can figure out some very basic things. If you are gonna kill a guy, dead bodies near your house and rental cars are a horrible idea. Use your own car and then friggin burn the thing to a crisp after... blame it on a runaway blunt!

If it was a crime of passion, well, chances are you either have a boat or have access to one... take that body and sink it to the bottom of a friggin lake, the ocean, etc. You can then say the guy fell overboard or something. Does it all looks suspicious as heck... uh, yeah it does... but it's not exactly LEAVING THE BODY IN YOUR BACK YARD either is it.

Seriously... lock him up for being a murderer, give him life, and then give him 5 more years for being an idiot!

You know I never considered some of the things jr wrote. If they rented a car to do the crime then this was as premeditated as it gets. Good Lord there is soime trouble going on up there. And if Hernandez rented the car then it can be proven he was involved in some way.

He needs to get Jayson Williams attorney on the line. 18 months for murder (which he tried to cover up) was a sweetheart deal. Tell the cops you were just showing him your gun, it accidentally discharged, and you panicked. Done, see you in 18 months.

Read he destroyed cell phone before handing to cops, destroyed home surveillance system and hired a team of cleaners Monday to clean his house.

Also has three rentals at Enterprise they are searching.

If they rented a car this was no accident.

Like I said, he has three rentals. It seems as if he just has rentals and chooses which one he wants to drive each day.
