My point was more along the lines that the EU would not allow us to go into France without participation of Germany and the UK even though the UK is not part of the EU. And we know macron is never going to invite the US in even if the Muslim hordes are at his doorstep.

I'm not referring to the hard core left but rather the independents and moderate liberals. They can swing elections but sadly they are too uninformed to realize we are heading down this path and are just 2-3 years behind Europe
