If I was a smart progressive, I wouldn't let this crisis go to waste.

I would declare Martial Law, and at least pretend to fight the issue in the streets.

Under Martial Law, I could delay elections as long as possible, seeking maximum damage to France.

Call it the Zelenskyy Strategy.

CBS did a story about it this evening, but they lied about it as usual. They didn't identify the students as foreigners, and the reason they gave for the riots was bad conditions in the schools. One student, a dark skinned young man with no French accent, mentioned the cockroaches in the crumbling buildings. It was quite a whitewash of the truth.
Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

This crap happens so often I don't pay attention until shooting starts. I just see a bunch of dumb ass kids recording violence on their phones. That happens every weekend in big cities of the US.

Probably just goes uncovered. But here in Idaho we set black people and Mexicans on fire pretty much every weekend. But it's just for fun, not for recording violence, so I guess that's why it doesnt apply. If BSU wins tomorrow, we've got some pretty big celebration plans set along these lines. If they lose, the backup plans will be even more fun.

I think it happens in Montana and Wyoming too.
