Sadly our current culture has equated sexual promiscuity with elevated status. Confusing the notion of something is good therefore way more of that same thing must be better. Yet it isn't.

Drunken consent is not consent. Sorry your parents failed you, and everyone who agrees with you. Sex is part of a relationship for a reason. A hookup under the influence of drugs and alcohol is a dangerous place to be. Sorry, it is, and if you don't know this, your education and morals are deficient.

No it actually doesn't. She should be charged
I'm not disagreeing with you on all the other stuff, but if you think this new claim doesn't make him look silly and make the public at large do a massive wtf when reading that, then I guess we live on different planets. She sodomized you? cmon bro. Just stick to your initial statements....no need to go cartoonish about it
I'm also not disagreeing that she should be charged. It certainly sounds like she continued sexual acts with at least one incapacitated guy, maybe two. But...sodomy? with what...a strap-on? her fingers? a dildo?

In what way does it make him look silly, and undermine his credibility? In one of her statements she indicated that she thought the guy asking for a threesome might be gay. Maybe that is something she is into, or at least curious about, and maybe she thought that stimulating him in that fashion might get him back in the game? If that's what she was thinking, it isn't a stretch to think she might have let her fingers slip somewhere private as she tried to get her crush to continue having sex with her. If true, it would show that she was acting in a willful manner to satisfy the desires that got her in the situation in the first place, which may speak to whether or not she was, ar least at that time in the evening, capable of expressing consent to what she did and did not want to do.
Thus his claim seems to mesh with statements she made, and if true is clearly a sexual act performed on him to which he did not consent, to which he couldn't consent because he was high and drunk to the point of passing out.

I don't disagree. I believe God created sex to be between one husband and one wife solely. However, as you said, that is not how society treats it. As such, if you aren't going to raise your children to wait for marriage, you need to have a good, long talk with them (especially your sons) about the very real dangers of being labeled a rapist and having your life ruined if you hook up with the wrong girl.

When did the whole narrative about how if you or a chick are drunk then you can't consent to sex take hold? It wasn't a thing in the 90's. Obviously, it's very different if someone is so drunk or high that they're legitimately passed out/asleep and can't be woken up.
But everybody I knew at A&M in the mid/late-90's definitely hooked up with people when drunk that they regretted later when sober. And this includes dudes and chicks. Unless you were completely passed out you just basically said "man, I was drunk" learned a lesson and moved on.
But now, the idea is that if you've had a few and got a buzz on means you can't consent (really just women because it evidently only works that way) or if you regret it after the fact then you can claim rape. That's an absurdly infantilizing abdication of personal responsibility.

Banging a fat chick is akin to riding a moped. It's fun until your friends find out.

Stuff like this was circulating in the mid-late aughts, which at least has to be the origin story of how it turned out like it did and transformed into whatever out-of-control beast it is today.
It was around when "rape culture" was the buzz word du jour.

This pisses me off. How can a man consent when he is drunk but a woman cannot? I am female and this is ridiculous. Double standard.
