There are certain kinds of lawyers that ask for you to prove the serial killer guilty 8 or 9 times before the switch is thrown and still attempt to stop justice because their feelz tell them certain types of punishment and justice just "feel wrong to them".

They are not officers of the court, they are terrible people operating under the guise of being a lawyer but having no respect for the law or decision and the court.

The worst types of "lawyers".

It is hard for me to buy into the idea that federal law enforcement needs to be protected from being outed by a bunch of AWFULs, particularly here in Texas.

Do you know any ICE agents? We know one. He is now very protective of what he does ... and it wasn't that way just a few years ago.

What has changed? Why are ICE agents all of sudden "enemies" and "killers" and the target of so many attacks/doxxing, etc. What has changed?

All true. The suits at DHS are telling us that their paperwork is in order. They tell us that he committed a crime. But they offer no proof?

The other side has a lawyer who wants to take it to a judge. The lawyer's eagerness to get in front of a judge tells me that the suits at DHS are hiding more than their faces. The lawyer is asking for a chance to make an offer of proof.

When those suits publish the paperwork, I'll believe them. Until then, I don't. My disbelief is not just the natural suspicion against government officials that is inherent in being a conservative.

My disbelief is the experience of a long career.

For the last 27 years, the primary source of my income has been a job where I argue with executive branch officials after I receive paperwork from executive branch officials who claim that "your client has no right to Y, because I have a piece of paper that says X."

Then we argue about what evidence they can actually produce.

So, disbelieving the claims of the government officials has been my job since the Clinton administration.

And I deal with government officials who show their faces and speak their names. They don't hide on twitter.

So, when somebody from the government says, "he entered illegally and we have a final order of removal," my response is always going to be, "prove it."

That's a lovely story and you tell it with such enthusiasm. However, the original version shows your hidden lack of fairness with the ski mask comment. Shirley you knew prior to this why they have to cover their faces yet you had to throw that in there. As pointed out repeatedly now, if we are all fair, there would be no reason for face coverings yet here we are.

Tell me, why do they have to cover their faces?

Please, tell me. What other law enforcement organization in US History has felt the need for such secrecy? Even the FBI, who feel what they do is so important that "just shut-up" is all you get if you ask them a question show their faces and identify themselves before taking any action.

So, are you saying these goons have to cover their faces because Hispanic immigrants are so dangerous?

SWAT teams, sniper teams, DEA have all long worn face coverings. FBI undercover operations, local undercover sting operations… shall I go on?

It's a complete LIE to say ICE is doing something unprecedented and then acting like it's unnecessary. A complete LIE.

While I agree there is some truth in this, in my view there is more to the story. Namely JOB SECURITY. The bureaucrat 'suits' and the billable-hour group have a vested interest in continuation of the status quo.

Reminds me of the old Brother Dave comment. "What are all the preachers gonna do when the devil is saved".

Around 1 million final deportations and you're talking about what one incident because the other two were justified. This one still might be justified.

Based on those numbers, they're looking pretty dang good

I call bull**** on this. Their methods have not changed. People had no problem with illegals being deported. What has changed so that there seems to be more sympathy for ICE agents who hurt illegals rather than illegals who hurt citizens.

I don't agree with this at all.

I think the militant and violent responses to them and confrontations are unprecedented though. COuntless ICE officers have been shot at while doing their jobs. It is the way it is being framed, and the leftist response, that is different than in years past. If this was happening under Obama (it did btw), you would not see this responses, and ICE wouldn't be facing so many violent encounters where they have to fire their service weapons.

Are you freaking kidding me? You really don't know why they have to cover their faces? The left doxxes everyone and their children if they view you as the enemy. Numerous ICE officers have been shot at while conducting routine business. They are covering their faces for the same reason certain police units in Mexico cover their faces when they make drug busts. Because there is a genuine concern for their life and safety, and that of their families, just because they did their job.

Right now, a large % of the left considers them absolute monsters. Your girl, Kamala Harris, openbly compared them to the KKK. And the left is the party of hatred and violence (and dumbassery). THAT is why they cover their faces. HTH

Immigration lawyers have plenty of indentured servants.

The legal profession consists of a large group intent on defrauding everyone for the feels. Reddington is the latest glaring example as well as those immigration lawyers, and other lawyers, collecting servants.

Seriously? Protesters showed up within minutes of this incident. Then you will have 5000 keyboard warriors that don't even have to visit the site to ID ICE agents using pictures and videos of 90% of the protesters filming it. Not just in Austin, in Dallas, in Houston, in any part of the state. They aren't going to be picky on outting the exact Agent Jiminez, they will just blanket all of the agents with that name and get to work. Attacks on feds are up 1000s of percent since all this nonsense started of enforcing the laws on the books. This also goes for SandiaMan and his innocent, loaded question.

Good luck with that. During a presidential address they basically gave the finger to a young boy with terminal brain cancer who wanted to be a cop, along with the grieving mothers and families of girls who had been brutally raped and murdered by illegal third world immigrants.

They are truly evil. Godless to the core.

It's not the AWFL's they are worried about. It's the crazy male liberals who may try to kill them, have them swatted, stalk them near their homes, potentially hurt their families.

Bruh, look at what happened to Charlie Kirk, what they tried to do to Trump. All of the violence chaos and destruction elsewhere. Numerous ICE agents have actually been shot at while carrying out their jobs. Doxxing a black juror who refused to vote nbot guilty over a woman killing her three children. I feel like you are just digging your heels in and playing obtuse at this point. You're dying on the wrong hill here.

It is hard to see what threat there was to the LEO, waiting for an explanation. The bullets in the rear window doesn't seem to jive with shots to the torso but he could have been climbing into the back or hit in the back of his torso.

Love that narration, here is his pouch to put all his empty magazines as he shoots thousands of rounds at poor immigrants just delivering food to rich white people (at least that was the implication I got)

So ridiculous. Glad Trump is banning these propaganda spewing freaks from the white house.

If it does turn out to be an ICE agent shooting him just for funsies, or out of racial hatred, my statement above still stands.

Most people don't actually go from ideals to decisions to actions, they want what they want and use ideals or ideology to justify their stance. This is why the whole incongruence between practical reality and ideological purity shows up here.

I can solve it for you. The people taking "reasonable" ideological positions that, if followed, prevent any meaningful change don't want any meaningful change.

They're not arguing in good faith, they're "just asking questions" and trying to suggest that if you don't follow current rules, or their interpretation of the rules (which are themselves malleable, entered into time at a point, and rest on prior assumptions) you are somehow wrong and a hypocrite.

Net: if the person advocating for a standard that, if followed, results in continued massive illegal immigration and illegal presence, continued increase of anchor babies, continued demographic, cultural, and political shifts…that is because this is exactly what they want.
