H1Bs abandoning houses and running away. More and more of these cases being reported.

Texas house prices will become more affordable in the coming months/years.

Vote R.

I spent a year in the '80s cleaning foreclosed homes for extra money. That's exactly how they all looked ... the people just walked away.

Kids art on the walls of their bedrooms, with toys on the floor. Clothes in the closet. Food in the pantry. Mail sitting on the dining room table. Golf clubs and mowers in the garage.

We saw some crazy, crazy stuff. It was pretty depressing.

I am trying to understand what made that guy convinced a house in Arlington being foreclosed on is related to H1-Bs self-deporting. The pic in the X post doesn't seem consistent with the house but maybe I missed it.

Feels more like a guy fishing for clicks.

I think it's from the pagan shrine decorations.

Which doesn't match the house in the video.

ANTTS in that video (and his x account etc) specifically buys foreclosed properties as such and yet amplifies the 'dire' nature of the business. I don't really care or follow but it's his MO and has a substantial social media following I guess.

Bingo. That makes sense. I didn't care to even look the cat up but you don't have to know much to see the clickbait.

The real estate market is fooooked and might take a decade to get sorted out and lots of habitable houses will become lost through neglect

There is lots of Supply that people don't want because of location or disrepair
Lots of Demand where there is no supply

Sounds like investing in U-Haul is the golden ticket. People can, do and will move. So that second part of your post is nonsense.

For the first part, what are you basing this on and what markets? Certainly not in Texas. And most markets in the US remain short on supply. None of that speaks to abandoned houses and loss of supply. That makes no sense whatsoever.

Curious how you arrived at your conclusion here.
