He can talk about "deportations" all he wants, but there is no easy button for fast-tracking mass deportations. It is possible under a dictator in a third-world country -- such as Idi Amin's deportations of Indians in 1972 in Uganda -- but not in the US, which operates under the rule of law with due process.

Due Process is nothing more than "your H-1B visa has been revoked and you are subject to deportation". Yes it's that easy and it's according to our law and provides for sufficient due process through the application and revocation process.

I don't see why we don't just charge the hell out of these people for living here. Make the company pay the fee, make them pay higher taxes, etc.

The H-1B crackdown on Indian workers is great news. I support immigration levels that keep population growth modest. Massive immigration causes traffic congestion, which would cause the quality of roads to decline faster. Also, the rapid increase has strained America's beleaguered schools, which literally don't have room for all these students. In addition, massive immigration would further tighten the supply of affordable housing for purchase or rent. Furthermore, there would be an increased demand for water, electricity, and other public services. Most importantly, there would be increased competition for jobs. Scaling back legal migration and cracking down on illegal immigration would ensure an improved quality of life for current US citizens.

Good. These people culturally don't give a damn about keeping up their property. We have to just be glad they don't **** on the sidewalk. Will happily absorb any repercussions from fewer coming here and preferably a lot leaving

No one sheets on the sidewalk. Don't fall for the online propaganda. Only extremely poor people are forced to do that in many countries, just because they are homeless. No one sheets on streets for fun.

That being said....

In my neighborhood, we have a couple of homes owned by Muslims, one from Uzbekistan and another Arabic. Their lawns and backyards are overflowing with weeds which blow into other people's houses. They just don't care. We complain and the HOA is too lazy to crack down.

My wife was walking in the community trails today and saw an older Indian/with turbine taking a leak on the trail.

PSA: Keep your cash warm to scoop up great deals in these locations!

So the Indians leave, and house prices fall (at least somewhat) and I can buy a home in a neighborhood with an HOA, with Muslims, and with still some Indians!! Sounds heavenly. All for them leaving, but my warm cash would not be buying into that situation.

And people think Texas is a deep red state that's pro whites only.

Anyone know how to celebrate Diwali?

Diwali is a fairly harmless celebration of lights (light over darkness), akin outwardly to Xmas lights. In a listing of all the problems in the world/state of Texas...it really doesn't even make the list.

Well, in much of India and the surrounding area, they eat heavily spiced diets. Not necessarily hot spicy but spicy as in a LOT of flavorful and aromatic ingredients. The human body can't break down all of the complex organic molecules in some of the spices so they build up in the body over time. Yes, you can smell them exuding from persons eating this food heavily.

One big issue with the Indians is that once they takeover a function inside an organization, they openly discriminate.

Open discrimination in favor of Indians as well as a lot of discrimination against women. And not just hiring of women, but hostility toward them and the inability to work with them. 30 years of Fortune 100 experience tells me that about 90% of them are useless bags of crap. Lousy at what they do, good at hiring their peers who are just as lousy.

I interviewed for a product management job with Google. Primary interviewer was Indian, and primary question was about implementing Android and Google Maps in India in 2005.

The entire thing was rigged so that you only did well if you remembered how gps acceptance was going 18 years prior in a country you'd never been to. What the f.

I got the onsite interview by crushing the phone interview question about 3-D printing architecture in current times.

Indian discrimination is very real.

I'll also say this as a finance executive that has had to move teams/roles out of the US and constantly works with teams outside of the US - our Mexico teams run absolute circles around these guys. I absolutely will not move work to India. They are useless. From what I have gathered, it's a low IQ society propped up by fake education.

China was buying land and Republicans just look to the other way. Same with the "visa" programs. The cost of real estate ownership and rental rates have all been driven up by this. They all campaign against these things but they purposefully do very little about it.

As a finance executive you know the bolded is not true or you have been outsourcing to ******ed Indians. Like any society, but in particular one consisting of over 1 billion people who most all lived in squalor and poverty (by western standards) until the last 30 years, you will have some misses. Also keep in mind that the "brain trust" has been methodically exported since the 1900s and exponentially in the last 40-50 years, and its logical the remaining workforce is subpar compared to 30 years ago when business process outsourcing started to really cook.

But it's not a low IQ society.

Real estate money funds both sides depending on what the federal lege and state leges have on their agendas.

Can you lay out the Dem opposition to China buying farmland? How did Republicans support open borders because the number of H-1Bs is a rounding error compared to 20+ million illegals / migrants / refugees / Maryland dads.

You attempt to blame Rs for it is quite laughable.

Fortune 50. Have seen it happen over and over again across so many teams. You have to set the bar incredibly low for anything you send there. Has to be the most simple of simple activities, and even that will have issues.

Then why do our corps hire 70% H1Bs from India and outsource most of our jobs there?

(I do agree with you that 90% are useless bags of crap. The very few good ones are really good though but most are lazy, think high about themselves, and very cunning. I can't forget the time 20 years ago when one person from Cognizant stole my entire code, changed a few things and presented it as his own. I couldn't believe it. Stupid guy didn't bother to change the print statement outputs.)

I agree with you.
People keep throwing out this IQ thing a lot. I've seen this on twitter also. Lynn-Becker, possibly with a hidden agenda, created a dataset with IQ being 78 and now every racist in town repeats it.

Here's another dataset
https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/average-iq-by-country
India: 98.44
USA: 101.04

By this data, we aren't that much above Ramesh. Are we gloating about less than 3 points? We are even less than Iran at 104.8.

I asked AI about Lynn-Becker. Looks like they took a few of those numbers out of their rear orifices.

Quote:

Major Scientific Critiques and Flaws
The scientific community heavily rejects the Lynn-Becker methodology for several critical reasons:
  • Plausibility Errors: An IQ score below 70 generally denotes clinical cognitive impairment. The Lynn-Becker dataset claims countries like Sierra Leone or Nicaragua have average IQs of 45 and 52 respectively. Critics note it is sociologically impossible for a functioning society to exist if the average citizen requires full-time disability support. [1, 2, 3]
  • Severe Sampling Bias: Instead of rigorous, representative testing, their data frequently relied on tiny, highly skewed samples. For example, their national IQ estimate for one African nation was calculated using a sample of just a few dozen malnourished, illiterate child refugees. In Nicaragua, their score was pulled from a study tracking children specifically because they suffered from neurodevelopment-depressing pesticide exposure. [1, 2, 3]
  • Imputation/Guesswork: For over 70 countries where no IQ studies existed, Lynn and Becker simply "imputed" (guessed) the numbers by averaging the scores of geographically or ethnically neighboring nations. [1, 2, 3]
  • Ignoring Environmental Factors: The dataset treats IQ as a fixed genetic trait. However, independent re-analyses of their data show that differences disappear or shift dramatically when accounting for differences in health care, nutrition, economic stability, and access to formal education. Standardized test data (like PISA or TIMSS) captures educational infrastructure, not biological potential. [1, 2]
