Sure. You could abstain. Then you for sure will get what you absolutely don't want.

Again, you've got 2 choices and one is clearly, by a long amount, more likely to produce the results I want. The other is 1000% likely to produce the results i don't want.

So, abstain all you want. Its stupid and self defeating. If you want tceh to ruin your day twice, go for it

Better to abstain, wait six years to get the right person in office than elect Paxton and have him in office in perpetuity.

That's what the primary was for. Paxton won and now is your choice if you prefer anl candidate more oriented towards the right.

It's that or real disaster

Given the nature of party primaries its difficult to get someone out once they get in.

I mean the success rate is atrocious.

We are better of losing...and making up for it now than have the stain of Ken Paxton perpetually hanging over us.

You keep saying "we". Are you talking about the democrats? Because sure, voting in Talarico is surely better for them. There is no planet on which 6 years of Talarico in the senate representing Texas is better for the Rs.

I'll take 6 years of Talarico over 24 of Ken Paxton.

Good luck with that, comrade!

Folks aren't focused enough on the long game…we need to get the Republican Party right, and if we tolerate corruption, then we will become that.

If you would take Talafreako for six years, you are no Republican!

Voted Republican in every election since I was 18.

Won't support abject corruption.

I think there's something more to being an American than voting your party every single time regardless of outcome.

I want a strong Republican Party, and if Talafreako needs to be elected, so Paxton never runs again…so be it.

What did Paxton do that was more corrupt than anything that Biden, Obama, Clinton, Clinton, or Pelosi did?

Last I checked, Jesus Christ wasn't on the ballot.

Not sure what "pro trans" means but if it means girls in sports and child sex changes, then no way in hell. It even 12 years ago.

But if "pro trans" means equal "rights" like can't fire them, etc then yes. Dan Morales probably would have been all for that had it been an issue of the day.

Either way, not following how no one can come out of a primary.

Simply pushing this trans BS, children mutilating themselves would have never had any legs and pushing an idea like that would have been the end of the candidate. Instead of calling it what it is and letting these confused people get psychiatric help, the left is indulging their mental illness, creating a platform. If a grown adult wants to ruin their life, have at it, but leave the children alone. Sick sobs.

The left has lost their fcking minds and they keep pushing increasing the level of violence, it won't end well for them.

Well, that's just your opinion man.

I think that voting for the other side because you can't get what you want, especially by voting against a suspected fraud with very weak allegations of fraud for an even bigger, way easier to prove fraud, is pretty close to black people not voting if they don't get reparations.

It's self-defeating stupidity.

I stand by my generalization too:

I will also say this. Those that lean far left seem to forget all basic concepts of law, such as evidence and logic, and will blindly follow MSM talking-points and BS. It has been an interesting (and disturbing) phenomenon to see people I know with law degrees go batsheet, woke crazy the past few years.

I heard that many are push toward trans during their most vulnerable age and I heard people say others pushed them towards that, including teachers who would call them by a name opposite their gender. Some of the people pushed into this regret that they let themselves be bulldozed. I've heard a story of it happening in Washington and mom found out before it was too late and picked up and moved to Texas. If an adult want to do that, that's their business and they need to pay ( not Medicaid or the military) but children do not understand that this is life altering. And they can't really go back to normal once you change, for one thing it sterilizes them). Someone I know well says, " but they are depressed and suicidal, so they need to do the change and my argument is this is a mental health issue. If you are that depressed you need to seek help for depression. Not go for : the well I'm depressed so cut off my sex organs or boobs. Many are suicidal after surgery and making the switch. And Talarico just loves trans kids, ew is he a pedo!?

Well stated.

I "AI'd" the topic:

  • Suicidal Ideation: According to the Trevor Project's National Survey, approximately 46% to 50% of transgender and non-binary youth seriously considered attempting suicide within the past year. [1, 2]
  • Suicide Attempts: Studies indicate that roughly 30% of transgender adolescents report having attempted suicide at least once in their lives. [1, 2]
  • Clinical Screenings: In hospital emergency settings, up to 78% of transgender and gender-diverse youth screen positive for elevated suicide risk. [1]
  • Anyone pushing a child into this is evil.

100% should be allowed to fire they/them if they want to push their delusion on others. No way people should be expected to use pronouns that don't even make sense grammatically. If they want to play dress up on the weekend and live in reality at the office then whatever, more power to them, but a company shouldn't be expected to bow down to their delusions.

That has always been the problem I have with the whole trans rights issue. By declaring themselves to be something they are not, then demanding that everybody else participate in their delusion, they are trampling my right to acknowledge the reality that I see before my eyes. I don't wish them any ill will, and if they want to dress up and pretend, fine, let them. But demanding that I suddenly call Larry from accounting Laura (even though "she" still looks like a Larry to me) after working with "him" for 20 years, under the penalty of losing my job if I don't, where are my rights in that equation?

So we have this hard left wing manchild, whose mom still puts money in his checking acccount, that has no wife or kids, no experience at anything but politics, ideology, and theory that wants to be on of two Senators that represent the State of Texas.

Only Democrats could nominate someone this lame. Even with his faults, in a sane world Paxton would beat this guy, and I use the term loosely, by 20+ points.
