A lot of Dems are obviously pissed because they know their soy boy is going to lose, yet again (obvious in this thread).

I'd voted against Cornyn in the primary the past 3+ cycles but was of course a reliable vote for him in the general vs. the communists he faced. It's moderately surprising to me some seem to have a tough time reciprocating that.

I am just confused on the moral pedestal that Paxton is being held up to but Talarico is getting a pass on. Paxton has had marital issues that are well documented. On this thread, we have had two of his staffers come out and say that Talarico was in a relationship with them.

So you have a boss dating a subordinate not once but twice? And the argument against Paxton is a failed attempt by his staffers to get some political credit and his marital woes?

Both are morally defunct if you ask me. You can probably say that for the majority of Congress. It is policies only that you should vote. One is going to slow the societal degradation and the other is going to throw gas on it.

Pretty simple choice.

Edit to clarify that Talarico dated staffers.

Not according to the Bible as were warned about false preachers. I believe cutting off girls and boys body parts and chemically changing them, resulting in sterilization, is horrific and abhorrent and Talarico thinks it is great.

Not sure what "pro trans" means but if it means girls in sports and child sex changes, then no way in hell. It even 12 years ago.

But if "pro trans" means equal "rights" like can't fire them, etc then yes. Victor (edited to fix) Morales probably would have been all for that had it been an issue of the day.

Either way, not following how no one can come out of a primary.

I'd agree with that point, if so. But I am absolutely thankful the Dems aren't trying to foist a more concealable 'moderate' on the public this time.
