John, only in authoritarian countries does someone else get to decide where you work. Not in Texas. Those concerned might want to channel their energy into broadening R outreach to a coalition of voters rather than just those already converted. https://t.co/5T2qEPfqdz

Embarrassing that any Republican would work for a psycho like Talarico, but Cornyn is not completely wrong here. Still a lot of time but starting to get nervous about a Roy Moore type situation.

Nobody is objecting to the guy having the right to go to work for Talarico. But it does say a lot about Cornyn that this was the kind of guy he had advising him on legislative affairs and when the guy jumps ship on the party and starts working for the opposition, Cornyn feels the need to jump to his defense. Don't be surprised when Cornyn becomes the pet "conservative" on CNN or MSNOW in the next year or so.

Two facts now sit in plain sight:

Communist China entered the 2020 election with an arsenal capable of shaping the presidential contest, while officials inside our own intelligence community worked to strip that intelligence of its election relevance, delay it, fragment it, and…

Talarico voted to allow Chinese nationals to buy Texas farmland, then blasted Americans for “racism” about COVID when the real threat is “radicalized white men.”https://t.co/osNlW8t1pv

I think it says more about Cornyn than Paxton that one of Cornyn's staffers would leave to join Talarico's campaign. The fact that he had people like that doing his work for him and giving him advice is why Texans voted overwhelmingly to give him the heave ho in favor of Paxton.
