Well he's kind of correct. If there is no water then true, there is no algae.
The problem is that the "reflection" in reflecting pool is created by water. Also probably has something to do with calling it a pool.

The interesting part is that there were several park employees that backed up the claims...

And I'm going to guess that most DC employees are not pro-Trump...

This is the perfect example of how the media portray Republicans vs democrats. This would be hailed as revolutionary if a dem president did this. Instead we get to hear about the cost and algae constantly to the point where it becomes a joke that it was even done.

Who is charged with creating a 300, no a 900 ft tear? Was it an individual or a team of people that somehow infiltrated the national mall under surveillance and no one saw it? The Olympian went to see the already damaged liner. Sure he touched it or maybe even more than that but that's like saying a person who picks up fallen debris from Columbia as the cause of the Columbia disintegration. Line was already compromised when he arrived. Are there others that that created the 900ft gash? Why cant Trump show us an a Birds Eye view photo of the pool and draw a line as to where this 900ft gash is. We all know he can use a sharpie. Even a circle of the region of the pool that has the 900 ft cut in the liner would at least let people know what general region it is at

Disrespecting a terrible accident in your attempt to paint Orange Man as bad is disgusting to me.

Line was damaged, people have been charged. Trump's bloviating on the length, strength and such is sort of irrelevant.

People damaged the liner buy cutting it. Fact. Pulling on damaged materials to cause further damage is not a curious passerby.

It absolutely does matter. If people committed vandalism, punish them, but to try and frame the situation as the problems are a result of vandalism when their actions had a thousand times the effect is disingenuous at best. Rational people would hold both parties responsible and assign blame accordingly.

Sure. But have you presented evidence it is not 900 feet? Because until then, what are we holding Trump responsible for? Protecting federal property? Making things better? Calling our the lunacy and derangement of those who simply hate America?
