Trump: Often in error but never in doubt.

1. Will Trump admit the guys he handed $14 million in a no-bid contract didn't know what they were doing? 2. Will he demand they pay us back for the shoddy work?
3. Is he still paying them tax dollars to fix the damage they caused?
4. What assurances do we have that they will do it properly this time?
5. Why are we paying them at all?
6. Will Trump apologize for calling this guy a vandal?
7. Will he admit his claims of 900 foot knife cuts was less than true?
8. Will he fire the person who told him that or admit he made it up?
1. No, they did the most perfect job ever, like nothing you've ever seen. No other POTUS could have ever made it happen.
2. See No. 1
3. Almost certainly, but only to fix the vandalism he will continue to insist occurred.
4. None whatsoever.
5. Who's gonna stop him?
6. He'd rather eat a bowl of glass.
7. See No. 6
8. If anyone gets fired, it will be whoever filed the motion to dismiss for contradicting him.
Of course, the immediate answer is to say it was Trump's fault and we should have continued to follow the dem's plan let the national mall become a sewer and national embarrassment. What was he possibly thinking by trying to improve Washington?
This is just a collection of words, haphazardly thrown together, bearing little relevance to the quoted post.

No one is faulting Trump for wanting to fix it. The fault was in trying to rush it and making fun of others who tried to fix it. You can have cheap, fast, or good: pick any two.
Personally, I think it's a flawed design and will be a continual problem for years to come.

You think the company is going to do it under warranty or under a claim of faulty work when POTUS is claiming it isn't their fault?

But the pool was botched! Yeah no other president messed with it and it looked great for America's 250th. But it was botched, man! We shoulda elected Kamalala!

It would be nice to join forces again with other conservatives that could admit fault and work as a team. Someday, perhaps. But we'll need a leader that's an adult.

So many people have Tds on this thread. Ostriches when facts are presented.
Facts? Like the material properties of the liner if it was applied correctly.
Hardness: shore-D 60. A golf ball hardness is 50, a caster wheel is 60, a hard hat is 80
Tensile strength: 3200 psi like a nitrile NBR. Very strong for elastomer used in many oil and gas well completion applications (o-rings)
Tear resistance die C: 600 pli. Tear resistance of a poly urethane skateboard wheel
Impact resistance: 160 in/lbs tough polymer vs brittle. A heavy duty floor epoxy
Yeah Trump and maga lemmings don't care about these facts because that would mean that vandals couldn't have cut a slit in the liner and the fact that it was the no bid contractor that did ****ty work
Anybody who is familiar with concrete coatings realizes all the characteristics listed have nothing to do with surface preparation and adhesion to concrete. You should leave the coating evaluation to the experts. A host of reasons could be applicators fault, defective material, improper mixing, environmental conditions, etc.
Also, this coating is not permanent will fail and require maintenance. As well as the expansion joints that will fail.

Now back to the stolen election evidence and the war we won 19 weeks ago.

Thanks for proving my point. ****ty job will lead to ****ty results. It wasn't vandals. had the material been applied properly It would've performed as advertised . The mechanical properties help to quantify how robust of a material this really is (or really any material for that matter) assuming it is applied/procured properly. I may not have achieved my doctorate in rhino liner pipe liner 5000 but I have enough knowledge to know this notion that it was damaged by vandals is ridiculous. But yes, continue to perpetuate the lies from engineering professor Trump.

Typical Trump
Overstate what's possible, not meet that ridiculous expectation, blame everyone else and then have your puppets preach about what you "really meant" when you set the ridiculous expectation.
Doesn't matter if it's a reflecting pool or an "obliterated" nuclear program, it's the same playbook.

Trump not backing down. At the end of the day there are several conflated issues on the pool.
Anyone expecting Trump to respond other than as below has not been paying attention to DJT for the last decade.
God lobe him!
Of course. DJT never admits he was wrong and doubles down…every damn time. So predictable.
Facts be damned.
