Though I think all this security is unnecessary if the folks of DC would elect leaders to enact commence sense gun laws.

Sorry, I meant COMMON sense gun laws.

But no, the second part was not serious. The first part was, and I fully expect one of the first lib talking points will be that Trump staged this to justify his ballroom.

Then we will get his voter registration showing MAGA, then how he was a huge Trump supporter until Epstein / Iran / ICE etc opened their eyes.

Then silence. Then two months from now it will turn out he was a gay Canadian who once dated Paul Pelosi.

Guest wifi is not available in the ballroom. The WHCA would have had to pay for their own wifi service for there to be coverage in the ballroom. I suppose that's possible, but why would they spend thousands of dollars for a couple of hours of wifi for dinner guests?

My current theory…this is a deranged fool who had a terrible 'plan' that included running through security. The only question I have is, where did he get the $$$ to stay in this hotel on this weekend? Someone probably helped him with that. I guess I'm not surprised they had random people allowed to stay in the hotel due to its large size and the idea that you can set security for certain areas of a large building. The president goes many places where secret service has to quickly secure a building or area.

It's actually quite nice, and the food is good. It also has the second-largest hotel ballroom in DC.

The alleged assassin was from California. Will be interesting to see how he arrived, I'm assuming he flew to DC. DC has some goofy gun laws, will be interesting to see where the guns came from if he didn't bring them himself. Sees likely at somebody else may have helped.
