I guess that makes sense for some reason I thought he was shot dead as he was running across the lobby or something. I didn't realize they had caught him after he had been shot.

I think it is it is stupid to let Trump speak. In the chaos of dealing with the guy that rushed the checkpoint, it would be easy to sneak in the real shooter into position. The first guy might be a patsy or just incredibly stupid or both. The whole thing is weird.
