I'm still confused why a SS agent would be handling their weapon in such a setting. Any insights? Would he have had to remove it to go through the metal detector? Wouldn't the TSA just wand him, instead?

Latest report was that the SS agent was in another vehicle in the motorcade and shot himself inside that vehicle.

Still a big black eye for the SS at a time when they need no more bad press.

It wasn't IN the airport. It was AT the airport.
