When you think about his efforts to use starlink to connect censored populations to the web and his efforts with killing the censorship on X and the things revealed by DOGE, and of course his efforts with spacex to explore, you really can't overestimate the impact he has had on the world.

I do love that they really are burning mosques, and that as with Hamas/others the IRGC etc. have stored weapons beneath/in them.

This wasn't the HMFIC flight, they'd use A340's likely. Odd flight though, apparently went just a bit south to the center of the country (Yazd).

Internet blackout continues, with some starlink jamming even. Protests/riots have only continued to escalate, with several larger cities completely running off security thugs, burning their buses and some police defections, though the Army for now has vowed to defend institutions.

I don't know, it's a fairly beautiful (for the area) region with older architecture etc. It supposedly went off FR24, so that is just an internet claim for now.

Second one there is part of a long thread. There's a video of soldiers standing along streets with shields if one clicks thru that, though some question if the shield logo's indicate Artesh or not. Could just be more Arab enforcers.

He noted that the regime was "trembling," a claimed that the opposition groups including monarchists, centrists, and Kurds were synchronized. "We clearly see a convergence taking place, which is historic after 47 years," he said, noting that these groups are largely "democratic and secular."

That's a couple days old now but also good news.

Hope to see some follow through soon. The regime is desperate.

I read the US is striking ISIS targets in Syria, which further degrades the regime's ability to pull 'militants' over to defend their realm.

Still too early to predict, but zero reason to think the mullah's are in any way regaining the upper hand here.
